Daugaard Garn was created by us – three sisters – with a shared love for yarn, crafts, and the small, quiet moments in everyday life.

For us, knitting and crocheting are not just about the finished result, but about the process along the way. It's about the breaks, the immersion, and the joy of creating something with your hands.

That's why we've built a shop where you can filter by technique and construction, across brands and designs. So you spend your time knitting – not searching.

We carefully select our yarns and kits. We look for qualities that are pleasant to work with and that give a beautiful expression – both in the work itself and in the finished project.

Our wish is to make it easy and straightforward to get started, but also to inspire you to take your time. Time to immerse yourself, to be creative – and simply to be.

At the same time, we have become more aware of how important it is to take care of our bodies along the way. Crafting can easily take over when you're in the middle of a project, and that's why we also focus on good habits, small breaks, and a more comfortable working posture.

We also dream of eventually creating our own solutions for the home – things that are both practical and beautiful to have on display.

For us, knitting and crocheting should be a part of the decor – not something to be hidden away. We like the idea of storage that makes it easy to put a project down and pick it up again, without disturbing the tranquility of the home.

Especially natural materials like wood appeal to us – something that feels calm, durable, and fits into a home you want to be in.
