Blouse with intarsia shamrock

Blouse with intarsia four-leaf clover is a soft and characterful design, where the simple stockinette stitch is offset by the large four-leaf clover motifs in a contrasting color.

The blouse is knitted in Bella by Permin, which gives the design a light, airy, and soft look with its fine mohair texture that suits the simple shape very well. At the same time, the yarn makes the color changes in the intarsia look soft, so the pattern is distinct without appearing harsh.

The construction is slightly different from a classic blouse. You start at the bottom of the back piece and knit back and forth upwards. Along the way, the sleeves are shaped directly as part of the work, after which you continue over the shoulders and down the front piece. Finally, the side and sleeve seams are sewn together.

The four-leaf clover pattern is knitted using intarsia, where the two colors meet directly in the work. The motif is repeated in several places on the blouse, giving it a graphic yet soft look.
