A little Icelandic classic for the little ones.

Bogi is a lovely children's sweater with the characteristic Icelandic pattern around the yoke, at the bottom of the body, and on the sleeves. The simple shape lets the pattern take center stage, resulting in a sweater that is classic, warm, and truly adorable for the little ones.

You choose the 3 colors for your kit yourself, so you can keep it in calm, natural tones like the model in the picture or put together your very own version with more color and contrast.

The kit is curated with Léttlopi from Ístex, 100% Icelandic wool. The yarn is light, warm, and has that rustic look that suits traditional Icelandic patterns so well.

The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are first knitted separately and joined at the armholes, after which the yoke is knitted with a multi-colored pattern and raglan decreases.

The pattern is included as a printed pattern.

The model in the picture is knitted in Léttlopi from Ístex in the colors White (0051), Black-brown (0052), and Gray-brown (1420).

Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen and may therefore differ a little from the actual color of the yarn.

The pattern includes comprehensive instructions for the project.

The pattern also requires 1 small button for the neckline. This accessory is not included.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rows in stockinette stitch on 4½ mm needles = 10 × 10 cm.

Always make a swatch before you begin. If you have more stitches than indicated per 10 cm, your tension is too tight and you should try a larger needle size. If you have fewer stitches, your tension is too loose and you should try a smaller needle size.
