Wide T-shirt – Digital pattern

Wide T-shirt is a simple raglan design with a strikingly wide silhouette, short, spacious sleeves, and wide ribbed edges. The combination of the calm stockinette stitch and the generous proportions gives the design a soft and relaxed look.

The T-shirt is knitted from the top down in one piece. First, the neck edge is knitted, then the back is shaped with short rows while the yoke is formed with raglan increases. Once the yoke reaches the correct size, the sleeve stitches are set aside while the body is continued in the round. Finally, the sleeves are knitted in the round – with no assembly required.

The design has a wide fit with plenty of ease and a relatively short length. The body and sleeves are finished with wide ribbed edges, providing a beautiful finish to the otherwise simple stockinette stitch.

The pattern was originally designed for Bellissima by Permin. At Daugaard Garn, we have also put together a kit for the design in Bella by Permin and Bella Color by Permin, both of which give the T-shirt a soft, airy, and slightly fluffy look.
