Cardigan Gerda II has a classic and timeless expression with ribbed edges, a button placket, and a soft collar that gives the design a calm and well-defined look. The smooth stitch pattern is nicely broken up by the texture of the ribbing, which frames the edges and the cuffs of the sleeves.
The design is knitted in Lana Grossa Cool Wool Big, which, with its extra-fine merino wool, provides a soft and warm quality. The stockinette stitch highlights the yarn's even stitch pattern, while the twisted stitches of the ribbing add a subtle play of texture. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up in separate pieces with ribbed edges, an integrated button placket, and a ribbed collar that is knitted on at the end.
