A grey-mottled cardigan in half-brioche stitch with a round neckline, raglan sleeves, and six buttons as a small, practical detail. It has a calm aesthetic, but the half-brioche stitch ensures it is far from boring to look at.

The cardigan is worked back and forth in half-brioche. The front pieces, back, and sleeves are joined with raglan seams, and a row of single crochet stitches is worked along the bind-off edge. It is a project where the pattern grows row by row and gives your hands something substantial to do.

The finished cardigan is perfect for throwing over a shirt, T-shirt, or dress when you want the day to feel a little warmer without being heavy.
