Creative Fluffily DK

Rico Creative Fluffily DK is a yarn that has almost everything at once: softness, lightness, fluffy volume – and then the fine glitter threads that provide small, discreet sparkles between the soft fibres.

The cotton helps keep the yarn light and comfortable, while the wool adds warmth, softness, and natural elasticity. At the same time, the fluffy surface provides plenty of volume without making the finished knit feel heavy. This makes the yarn truly lovely for blouses, cardigans, and vests where you want a soft, full look but still a lightweight feel.

And then there are the glitter threads. They run nicely through the yarn and catch the light between the fluffy fibres, making the effect more of a subtle sparkle than actual glitter. This gives even a very simple stockinette-stitched design something extra – without the need to add an effect thread or choose an advanced pattern.

Creative Fluffily DK is also wonderful for smaller projects like hats and scarves, where the soft surface and small sparkles really get to be part of the expression.

🧶 How much do you need?

Creative Fluffily DK comes in large 150 g balls with a full 420 metres, so you get a really long way with each ball. Our Raglan Blouse with short sleeves, for example, only uses 1 ball in size M.

For a blouse or sweater, you should typically count on around 1–3 balls, depending on the size, length, and design.
