Eternity – Physical Recipe

An endless pattern – and two very different ways to wear it.

Eilífð is an Icelandic sweater with a striking, graphic yoke inspired by the infinity symbol and shapes that flow into each other. This gives the pattern an almost hypnotic expression and makes the sweater something truly special.

The pattern includes both a classic model and a shorter model. The classic version has a calm and Nordic look, while the short model shows how much the design can change character when colors and contrasts are amplified.

The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are knitted separately and joined at the armholes, after which the patterned yoke is knitted further in the round with decreases.

The pattern is designed for Léttlopi from Ístex, 100% Icelandic wool. The yarn can be purchased here at Daugaard Garn, so you can put together the colors you want for the model yourself.

The pattern is delivered as a printed pattern and sent to you by post.
