Fura – Physical recipe

Fura is a classic Icelandic sweater for children with a beautiful, graphic pattern around the yoke.

The design has the familiar Nordic look with contrasting colors at the edges and a pattern that truly serves as the sweater's eye-catcher. A timeless design that works just as well year after year.

The sweater is worked from the bottom up in the round. The body and sleeves are worked separately and then joined at the armholes. The yoke is then worked in the round with stranded colorwork according to the chart, while simultaneously decreasing for the neckline.

The pattern is designed for Léttlopi from Ístex, 100% Icelandic wool.

The model in the photo is knitted in Létt-Lopi in White 0051 and Grey 0057.

The pattern is delivered in print.
