Hnokki – Physical recipe

Hnokki is a classic children's sweater with a beautiful textured pattern that creates a lot of impact without using multiple colors.

The pattern is repeated on both the body and sleeves, giving the sweater its distinctive look. A really nice design if you want to knit something with a bit more visual interest, but still keep the color choice simple.

The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are knitted separately and joined at the armholes, after which the yoke is knitted in the round with raglan decreases. The textured pattern is knitted according to a chart.

The pattern was originally developed for Léttlopi 100% Icelandic wool. We also offer a kit for this model in Léttlopi from Ístex.
