Reindeer – Physical recipe

Classic Icelandic knitwear with a striking pattern and plenty of opportunities to play with colours.

Hreindýr is an adult sweater with a large graphic pattern over the yoke and matching details at the bottom of the body and sleeves. The pattern shows three different colour versions – from the simple black model in two colours to the red and grey models with three colours.

The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up. Body and sleeves are knitted separately and joined at the armholes, after which the yoke is knitted in the round with a multi-colour pattern and decreases according to the chart.

The pattern includes separate sleeve lengths for women and men and is designed for Léttlopi from Ístex, 100% Icelandic wool. The yarn can be purchased here at Daugaard Garn, allowing you to choose the colours you want for the model.

The pattern is delivered as a printed pattern and sent to you by post.
