Lana Grossa Ecopuno is one of those yarns that strikes the perfect balance between light, soft, and warm. The combination of cotton, merino, and baby alpaca creates a soft and comfortable knit, without it becoming heavy or feeling like classic winter wool.
This makes Ecopuno a fantastic year-round yarn. It's light enough for a top or cardigan that you can wear well into spring and on cool summer evenings, but the alpaca and merino still provide that warm feeling you want when the temperature drops. It's simply one of those qualities that's incredibly easy to use.
The yarn's special construction also results in a light and airy knit with a really nice fullness. It's beautiful on its own, but also great for experimenting with if you want to change the look. For example, add Cosmo for subtle sequin glimmer – or a fluffy accompanying thread if you want to make the knit even softer and cozier.
🧶 How much do you need?
For a top or sweater in size 38–40, you should expect approximately 6–7 balls of Ecopuno. For larger or more oversized models, you should naturally calculate a little more.
Why choose Ecopuno?
Because Ecopuno is the kind of yarn that's hard to categorize by season. The cotton keeps the look light, while merino and baby alpaca add the softness and warmth that still gives you the feeling of a truly luxurious knit.
It's a yarn for that top that never really gets pushed to the back of the closet, because there's almost always an occasion to wear it.
Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen and may therefore differ slightly from the actual color of the yarn.
