The Laura bag is a crocheted bag with a simple, graphic pattern in two colors. It has long handles and a shape that is perfect for taking along when you need to bring home a little more than just your keys.

The bag is crocheted in rounds, and the pattern takes shape as you work. The handles are crocheted separately as rows of chain stitches, joined into rings, and sewn on at the end.

It is satisfying to watch the two colors form the pattern row by row. A bag like this is great to have on the go – and even better when someone asks where it's from.

The model in the photo is crocheted in Cotton 8/4 in the colors Dark Olive Green and Cashew (14124 and 14105).

Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen and may therefore differ slightly from the actual color of the yarn.

Always crochet a sample before you begin. If you have more stitches than indicated in 10 cm, you are crocheting too tightly and should try a larger crochet hook. If you have fewer stitches, you are crocheting too loosely and should try a smaller crochet hook.
