Santa hat in Esther - digital pattern

A classic, long Christmas hat with a patterned border and tassel. The snug ribbed edge and the characteristic pointed shape give the hat the perfect festive look.

The hat is knitted in the round from the ribbed edge upwards. The patterned border is knitted according to a chart in two colors, after which the rest of the hat is worked in stockinette stitch. The continuous decreases form the long point, which is finished with a tassel or pom-pom.
