Pelliccia

Lana Grossa Pelliccia is not the yarn for those who want a completely ordinary knit – and that’s precisely why it’s so much fun. It has a soft, furry look that adds a lot of texture and makes even the simplest design look truly special.

Pelliccia is fantastic when the yarn should be the main character. A simple vest, cardigan, or sweater doesn't need many details when the surface is already so vibrant and fluffy. And you certainly don't need to knit an entire project with it – Pelliccia can be really nice as an effect on, for example, edges, collars, or other details where you just want a bit of that furry look.

It's the kind of yarn you want to touch. Soft, fluffy, and a little extravagant – in a good way. And it can give an otherwise simple knit that "where did you get that from?" look.

🧶 How much do you need?

For a regular sweater in size 38–40, you should expect to use approximately 8 balls of Pelliccia. For more spacious or oversized models, the consumption may be higher – for example, our Pullover in Pelliccia uses 10–13 balls depending on the size.

Why choose Pelliccia?

Because some projects deserve to be a little extra. Pelliccia adds softness, volume, and lots of personality without the need for fair isle or advanced details.

Use a lot of it, use a little of it – but be prepared that it will be quite difficult not to want to touch the finished result.
