A sweater with raglan sleeves and side slits has a rather nice ability to look casual without ending up in the sofa section.

The sweater is started from the top and knitted in the round with raglan increases. The body is later divided so that the slits can be knitted back and forth. This provides a varied workflow without making a bigger deal out of it than necessary.

The raglan increases provide something concrete to follow along the way, and gradually the shape becomes clear. The finished sweater is ready for cool days when you want something soft over your shoulders and still look as if it was entirely intentional.

Gauge: 14 stitches x 22 rows in stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.
