Socks in Meilenweit

The socks have a classic and timeless look with a fine base pattern that adds life to the stitch definition. The combination of stockinette stitch and pattern creates a harmonious balance, where the pattern continues over the instep, while the underside of the foot is worked in stockinette stitch. This provides a calm yet interesting look, where the details stand out clearly.

The socks are worked in the round on double-pointed needles and shaped with an hourglass heel. The design is finished with toe decreases and is described in sizes 36/37 (38/39).

The pattern was originally shown in both Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine and Meilenweit Merino Extrafine Dolomiti. At Daugaard Garn, the kit is put together for one pair of socks in Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine.

The models in the photo are knitted in Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine from Lana Grossa in the color Aubergine (col. 2411) and Meilenweit Merino Extrafine Dolomiti in the color Dark Teal/White/Pink/Mint/Aubergine (col. 2572).
