Socks in Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine

The socks have a classic look with a fine textured pattern that adds life to the stitch definition. The ribbed cuff provides a nice finish at the top, while the pattern continues down the leg and over the instep. The sole is worked in stockinette stitch so that the pattern is clearly showcased.

The socks are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles and shaped with an hourglass heel. The design is finished with toe decreases and is described in sizes 40/41 (42/43).

The pattern was originally shown in three different Meilenweit qualities from Lana Grossa: Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine, Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine Cortina, and Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine Milano. At Daugaard Garn, the kit is put together for one pair of socks in Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine.

The models in the picture are knitted in Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine in the color Blue-Green (col. 2410), Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine Cortina in the color Turquoise/Petrol/Light Purple/Dark Green/Moss Green/Rust (col. 2508), and Meilenweit 100 Merino Extrafine Milano in the color Medium Grey/Dark Grey/Anthracite/White (col. 2546) from Lana Grossa.
