A cardigan with an edge. The Sailor Cardigan is knitted top-down with classic raglan sleeves — and with a bubbly textured pattern on the body that gives it its sailor character.

It's a design with plenty of room to move, buttons all the way up, and ribbed edges that maintain their shape. Knitted in Organic Wool + Nettles No. 4 from ONION — a soft and durable yarn made of 100% natural fibers that can withstand real wear and tear.

The pattern is delivered as a digital PDF and sent automatically after purchase.

The model in the picture is knitted in Onion no 4 in the colour douce green (770811).

The cardigan is knitted with a classic raglan shape and has plenty of room for arm movement. Ribbed edges at the neck, sleeves, and bottom provide a neat, finished look.

If you are unsure about the size, we recommend knitting one size larger — the design is meant to fit loosely and comfortably.

Gauge: 21 stitches × 30 rows in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 × 10 cm. If the gauge does not match, change to larger or smaller needles.
