Nordic colours, classic Icelandic, and a pattern inspired by the Icelandic landscape.
Mistur features a beautifully patterned yoke in cool shades, evoking thoughts of mist, ash, mountains, and sky. The result is a classic Icelandic children's sweater with a calm expression and many fine details in the pattern.
You choose the 4 colours for your kit, so you can keep it in the cool grey and blue tones of the model or give Mistur a completely different look with your own favourites.
The kit is put together with Léttlopi from Ístex, 100% Icelandic wool. The yarn is light, warm, and has the rustic look that suits traditional Icelandic patterns so well.
The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are knitted separately and joined at the armholes, after which the patterned yoke is knitted further in the round with decreases.
The pattern is included as a printed pattern.
The model in the picture is knitted in Léttlopi in the colours ash grey (0054), light denim (1700), light grey (0056), and denim (1701).
Colours may vary slightly from screen to screen and may therefore differ a little from the actual colour of the yarn.
