A small jacket with plenty of texture – and the finest collar.
Perla is a classic children’s jacket knitted in seed stitch, which gives the whole piece its beautiful, vibrant surface. The simple shape, small collar, and two front buttons give the jacket an almost nostalgic feel – without it feeling old-fashioned.
The kit is curated with Léttlopi from Ístex, 100% Icelandic wool. The yarn is warm, light, and durable, making it a great choice for a jacket meant to be worn again and again on chilly days.
The jacket is knitted from the bottom up, back and forth in seed stitch. The body and sleeves are knitted separately up to the armholes, after which the parts are joined, and the yoke is knitted as one piece. Finally, the collar is knitted, and buttonholes are made using crocheted loops.
The pattern is included as a printed pattern.
The models in the photos are knitted in Léttlopi in the colors Mimosa Yellow (1703) and Apricot (1704).
