Perla is a sweet children's jacket with plenty of texture and a lovely classic collar.
The entire jacket is worked in seed stitch, which gives the design its characteristic look. The two buttons at the top front and the small collar make it extra refined, while the simple shape keeps the style calm and timeless.
The jacket is worked from the bottom up, back and forth. The body and sleeves are worked separately up to the armhole. Then, the pieces are joined on the same needle, and the yoke is worked in one piece with decreases. Finally, the collar is worked, and the buttonholes are made as crocheted loops.
The pattern is designed for Léttlopi from Ístex, 100% Icelandic wool.
The models in the photos are knitted in Léttlopi in the colors Mimosa Yellow (1703) and Apricot (1704).
