Lana Grossa Cool Wool Big Uni/Melange is for those who love the feel of a luxurious merino knit but want a bit more substance. The yarn is soft and comfortable, creating a beautiful stitch definition that makes it ideal for the blouses, cardigans, and sweaters you'll end up wearing again and again.
Here you can choose between the classic Uni colours with a clean and uniform look, and the beautiful Melange colours, where the nuances gain more depth and play. This can actually quite significantly change the expression of the same pattern – from classic and simple to a bit more lively.
Cool Wool Big is also really lovely for textured stitches. Ribs, cables, and other details stand out beautifully, but the yarn works just as well for a simple stockinette stitch sweater, where the quality and colour are allowed to speak for themselves.
If you're feeling a bit more playful, it also makes a wonderful base for effect yarns. For example, add a strand of Cosmo for subtle sequin sparkle, or Make it Tweed if you want to give the Uni colours, in particular, even more vibrancy.
