Lana Grossa Milano is one of those yarns that makes even the simplest knit look a bit more exclusive. It has a light, soft, and elegant appearance with a fine texture in the yarn, which brings the stitches to life without becoming fluffy like mohair.
It's truly lovely for blouses, tops, cardigans, and vests where you want a knit that feels light, but still has some substance and character. Milano is especially beautiful in simple designs where the yarn's texture is allowed to be part of the expression – you don't need a complicated pattern to achieve a result that looks impressive.
And Milano is one of those yarns that can change character depending on what you pair it with. Knit it alone for an elegant, calm look, or add an effect thread if you want a little more flair. Cosmo is an obvious match if you want small sequin glints between the stitches without overpowering the yarn itself.
🧶 How much do you need?
Milano is light in relation to its volume, so you can go surprisingly far with the yarn. For an adult blouse or sweater, the consumption will depend heavily on the pattern, size, and gauge, so always refer to the specific pattern.
Why choose Milano?
Because Milano has that combination of lightness, texture, and a truly lovely expression, which makes a simple design suddenly no longer feel simple.
It's the yarn for you who wants to knit something that's easy to wear – but still has that little extra something that makes people take a second look.
Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen and may therefore differ slightly from the actual color of the yarn.
